5/18/2023: Gilles Vonsattel, piano
This morning we are fortunate to hear a recital by the internationally acclaimed, Swiss-born American pianist, Gilles Vonsattel, in a performance of works by Bach, Beethoven, and Mendelssohn.
Mr. Vonsattel is a 2009 Laureate of the Honens International Piano Competition, recipient of an Avery Fisher Career Grant, and winner of the Naumburg and Geneva Competitions, as well as the 2016 Andrew Wolf Chamber Music Award. In 2017, he performed Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra to great acclaim. Mr. Vonsattel currently performs regularly with the Lincoln Center Chamber Music Players and maintains a busy international performance schedule.
