E.B. Storrs Scholars Roundtable: Young Musicians during a Pandemic (2020 Recipients: Part 2)
On this program, we heard from a number of 2020 Storrs Scholarship recipients, all of whom were enrolled in Connecticut university programs at the time they applied. In normal times, we would have heard some of these pianists in a live recital this past March. Instead, we at least got to chat with them, find out more about their current situation and career plans, and hear samples of their pianism.
Scholarship recipients who participated in this roundtable included: Morgan Lee, Anthony Ratinov, Christine Wu, and Sofia DiNatale. Salome Jordania was planning to participate but was unable to, for technical reasons. A different cadre of pianists appeared on March 18.
