The Hartt School of Music at 100: The Present
This will be Part Two of the three-part lecture series presented to the Musical Club in recognition of Hartt's 100th anniversary: Hartt School Past, Present and Future. (Part One, "The Past", was presented in February, 2020 before the pandemic shutdown began.)
The Hartt School's 100th Anniversary (A.K.A. Hartt 100) continues in spite of the COVID challenges, and the second of three scheduled Hartt-MCH events will focus on the "present": Hartt's current college faculty and students. In particular, we will be featuring the School's vibrant chamber music program. Hartt Dean Larry Alan Smith will be interviewing violist Rita Porfiris, Chair of Hartt Chamber Music, and there will be live (i.e., virtual) and recorded student performances. Special attention will be given to what it takes to perform chamber music when everyone can't be in the same chamber!

Note that the program proper doesn't begin until 10:42.
